Introducing the Leaf Lifesaver Box, in collaboration with author and writer Sarah Gerrard-Jones. Sarah, also known as @theplantrescuer, is a passionate plant lover dedicated to saving the botanical beauties she encounters daily.

By purchasing our mystery Leaf Lifesaver boxes, you help reduce the significant waste generated by the Horticultural sector each year. As distance and online plant sales grow, so does the number of plants discarded due to minor imperfections. Retailers often avoid selling slightly imperfect plants as they assume customers are searching for perfection and want to prevent complaints and/or refund requests. Complaints lead to more healthy plants being thrown away simply because they have a few minor imperfections. Just as we’ve come to reject the idea of discarding ‘wonky’ vegetables, we need to stop discarding flawed houseplants for similar reasons.

Since launching our Leaf Lifesaver boxes, they’ve been incredibly popular! We’ve collaborated with our suppliers to accept their rejected plants, incorporating them into our Leaf Lifesaver boxes alongside any imperfect plants from our shop.

What is included in each box?

The number of plants in our Leaf Lifesaver boxes varies weekly. Typically, we include around three plants per box, though the number may fluctuate based on value.

Plants are selected randomly and include only those we would be happy to rescue ourselves.

Is this box for me?

These plants require some TLC, so a basic understanding of plant care is ideal. If you’re eager to learn more about nurturing and rescuing plants, these boxes are an excellent starting point.

Can I get a refund?

All plants sold are imperfect but will grow with proper care. Therefore, we do not offer refunds. The price reflects the plants’ condition. Occasionally, plants might arrive with pests We make every effort to check, treat, and inspect the plants upon arrival and before we deliver the Leaf Lifesaver box.
